New Sizes of Stainless Steel C.D. Flat 304

Parker Steel has ordered from its mill suppliers, 29 additional sizes of Stainless Steel metric size cold drawn flats in type 304 to its inventory. Sizes added are for the larger flats such as 150mm x 10mm and 70mm x 30mm. The bars should arrive in stock in October and November of this year. The firm also stocks cold drawn stainless steel flats in type 316 and 303. Largest Selection of C.D. Alloy 4140 Annealed Square Bars!!!

New at Parker Steel are cold drawn alloy 4140 annealed square bars. In Europe grade is known as 42CrMo4 and in Japan as SCM 440. We have the largest selection of this item anywhere. Sizes start at 6 millimeters and go up to 50mm from flat to flat. Alloy 4140 squares produce a product with superior depth hardness; wear resistance, excellent toughness coupled with good ductility and the ability to resist stress at higher temperatures. This is the most popular alloy in North America. And can achieve a tensile strength of 130,000 phis after heat treating. We stock these Bars in lengths from 10 to 13 feet long. This is an oil hardening steel. The chromium content provides good hardness penetration and the molybdenum imparts uniformity, hardness and high strength.
